This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the P&L for student lending, establishing revenue and profitability goals, forecasting growth, allocating resources, and reporting outcomes to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Drive borrower acquisition and growth through SEO, partnerships, and paid media channels.
• Develop, negotiate, and expand lender and marketing partnerships.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to enhance borrower conversion, partner integrations, and marketplace performance.
• Lead cross-functional growth initiatives, distribution opportunities, and campaigns.
• Track performance metrics and unit economics to uncover opportunities, mitigate risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Direct the Student Lending team and align its objectives with company-wide OKRs.
• Work alongside Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to the CRO and/or Executive Leadership Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of experience in fintech, marketplace, or consumer lending roles with a proven track record in scaling acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a business unit's P&L, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• A successful history of implementing growth strategies and managing paid media.
• Extensive experience in structuring and expanding distribution partnerships.
• Strong leadership experience in rapidly growing environments.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing product roadmaps.
• Exceptional communication skills; adept at negotiating externally and presenting to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Capability to assess unit economics, budget, and conduct ad hoc industry analysis.
• Skilled in utilizing data, BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), and analytics to enhance performance.
• Ability to balance immediate execution with long-term strategy in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
