This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee HoopStars, managing its business plan, budget, revenue, profitability, and cash flow projections.
• Direct sales and operations, ensuring that programs, coaches, venues, and service quality align with demand.
• Enhance paid search and social media strategies, including creative content, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing structures, offers, referrals, and retention efforts.
• Develop the marketing team for the parent company, Community Sports Partners, across its various brands.
• Define team structure, recruit specialists, hire contractors or agencies as needed, and oversee priorities and performance.
• Link campaign performance to paying customers, repeat enrollments, and profit contributions.
• Allocate marketing budget based on reliable reporting and testing methodologies.
• Analyze advertising accounts, identify funnel issues, and assist in implementing improvements.
• Build a team capable of consistent execution.
• Propose budgets and team strategies while making operational decisions within the agreed authority.
• Engage in monthly business reviews with clear weekly reporting and escalate any exceptional issues.
• Within the first 90 days, gain an understanding of customers, operations, and financials; audit brand marketing; establish reporting frameworks; propose team structure and hiring priorities; initiate growth tests; and assume responsibility for routine HoopStars business decisions.
• Proven track record in paid acquisition, conversion, and customer retention.
• Commercial accountability extending beyond a marketing budget, including pricing, margins, staffing, forecasts, or overall business profitability.
• Experience in hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies, or other specialists.
• Ability to adapt e-commerce strategies to a service-oriented business with real delivery capabilities and customer obligations.
• Willingness to engage in hands-on work while developing personnel and systems.
• Strong command of professional English and effective remote leadership skills.
• Background in youth sports, education, fitness, memberships, or multi-location services is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in building a profitable business and an efficient team is essential.
