General Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee all financial elements of the Area's operations.

• Implement and comply with Company policies and procedures.

• Foster and maintain customer relationships.

• Promote customer compliance, manage resources, and track other essential metrics.

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the construction and project management teams.

• Create processes and procedures to ensure project success from initiation to completion.

• Supervise Construction Supervisors, Managers, and Project Managers to guarantee projects remain within budget, are safe, high-quality, and on schedule.

• Assist in resolving project disputes and negotiate solutions to construction issues.

• Ensure adherence to internal and external reporting deadlines and financial reporting standards.

• Compile weekly revenue and cost reports.

• Manage costs related to materials, equipment, production requirements, and delivery timelines.

• Prioritize projects based on client needs and escalations, while identifying resource requirements and assignments.

• Assess employee performance, job roles, retention, career progression, and team skill enhancement.

• Engage with customers, vendors, and subcontractors while exploring market expansion opportunities.

• Foster a safety culture and monitor compliance with SSO, MVI, TRIR, and DART metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, ideally within a telecom construction setting.

• High standard of quality in tracking both new and completed work.

• Hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Strong focus on safety.

• Ability to coach, mentor a team, and facilitate change when necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Capability to learn specialized software.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
