General Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of P&L and drive team development for specific markets.

• Develop strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and profitability in urban areas.

• Ensure vehicles are optimally prepared and strategically positioned to enhance revenue.

• Monitor and oversee key performance indicators within the region.

• Lead or participate in cross-functional strategy working groups.

• Manage a team of at least five individuals, fostering professional growth through regular feedback and open communication.

• Make critical decisions for the business portfolio, focusing on increasing top-line revenue and ensuring city profitability.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with city stakeholders.

• Lead or influence cross-functional initiatives and special projects related to hardware, products, supply chain, inventory, growth, customer experience and support, government relations, and sales.

• Guide operational teams with empathy, focusing on customer experience, regulatory compliance, utilization, growth initiatives, and inventory management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Over 7 years of experience in operations, strategy, supply chain, and/or consulting.

• More than 5 years of experience in people management.

• Proven ability to lead and influence in a collaborative environment.

• Data-driven mindset, effectively deriving outcomes from data-informed decision making.

• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

• Highly desirable: prior experience in building and maintaining productive relationships with municipal and regulatory stakeholders.

• Highly desirable: demonstrated success in managing large-scale physical inventories or distributed hardware networks.

• Highly desirable: background in micromobility, logistics, or transportation-as-a-service sectors.

• Highly desirable: proven capacity to lead teams and execute complex tasks in high-pressure or fast-paced settings.

• Highly desirable: advanced business degree (MBA) or a strong history of establishing and scaling ventures from the ground up.
