General Manager – Asia-Pacific

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Drive the strategy, development, and expansion of Iterative Health’s operations in the APAC region.

• Establish operations in Singapore to serve as a regional hub.

• Enhance and develop the initial footprint in India and Australia.

• Create a regional hub-and-spoke framework to facilitate patient recruitment and clinical trial execution across adjacent countries.

• Define direction, allocate resources, and set operational rhythms for country leaders.

• Develop site networks, foster sponsor relationships, and establish operational rhythms in regions lacking country leadership.

• Hold complete P&L accountability for the APAC region, encompassing revenue growth, operational performance, and resource distribution.

• Construct Singapore's clinical trial infrastructure in collaboration with a local hospital system.

• Design operational models for each country and implement the regional operating rhythm.

• Balance immediate market execution with the investments necessary for a scalable regional business.

• Build relationships with private investigators and both global and local sponsor partners.

• Break into new markets and create a repeatable market-entry strategy.

• Lead organizational, systems, and process enhancements to address scaling challenges.

• Act as the senior point of contact and escalation for APAC sponsors.

• Represent the APAC region to the Global COO and executive leadership.

• Align sponsor priorities with Life Sciences and global leadership teams.

• Serve as the external representative for the region with sponsors and partners.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, or a similar P&L owner in at least one market.

• Background in healthcare, clinical research, Contract Research Organizations (CRO), or life sciences.

• Direct experience in establishing a market or business from the ground up.

• Proven experience in hiring and nurturing other General Managers or senior operators.

• Comfortable with full P&L accountability while building the team and infrastructure from scratch.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Willingness to travel frequently across APAC markets (25%+).

• Familiarity with clinical trial operations, site management, and sponsor-side dynamics in at least one APAC market (preferred).

• Experience in leading or supporting mergers and acquisitions (preferred).

• Background in top-tier consulting firms, such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain (preferred).
