General Counsel – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel.

• Draft, assess, and negotiate contracts for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure contracts adhere to statutory regulations and corporate policies.

• Offer advice and assistance to various departments on legal issues.

• Monitor and evaluate legislative developments and their implications for the company.

• Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and other legal concerns.

• Serve as a legal advisor, helping the company uphold high legal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in law or an equivalent qualification.

• Ideally a fully qualified lawyer who has completed at least one German State Examination in Law; bar admission is not mandatory.

• Professional experience in contract law, general commercial law, governance, and corporate law.

• Extensive knowledge of both national and international contract law.

• Familiarity with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• Capacity to work independently and take initiative.

• Excellent team player with strong communication abilities.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
