This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate and large-scale relationships, nurturing both current and potential clients as avenues for new business, which includes travel and client engagements.

• Engage with clients to guarantee service quality and identify opportunities for referrals to additional banking services.

• Supervise, guide, and mentor Relationship Managers and other designated team members.

• Ensure that staff are informed of and adhere to internal and external policies and procedures.

• Spearhead the development and execution of process enhancements to boost service quality, processing efficiency, profitability, and regulatory compliance.

• Provide administrative, operational, and risk management support for the Unit.

• Take part in revenue-generating initiatives as assigned.

• Establish and sustain crucial internal and external relationships that contribute to revenue growth.

• Collaborate on the implementation of the strategic plan.

• Represent the Unit or Division in enterprise-wide projects and initiatives.

• Exercise managerial authority regarding staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations.

• Comply with risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.

• Design, execute, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk.

• Identify risk-related concerns that require escalation to management.

• Foster an environment that encourages inclusivity and embodies the M&T Bank brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement findings from audits and regulatory reviews.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or alternatively, a combined total of 9 years of higher education and/or work experience, which includes at least 5 years of related experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in work leadership, supervisory, and/or managerial roles.

• Excellent customer service abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Skills in problem resolution.

• Competence in resource management.

• Robust decision-making abilities.

• Certification as a Corporate Trust Specialist (preferred).

• Proficiency in project management (preferred).

• Analytical skills (preferred).

• Proven high level of proficiency in using relevant word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and industry-specific software (preferred).
