GCM Relationship Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee client relationships and the daily management of assigned Global Capital Markets accounts.

• Manage administrative, operational, and risk management tasks for GCM transactions.

• Act as the primary contact for clients as well as internal and external service partners.

• Track administrative and operational systems, databases, and account activities.

• Review, analyze, and provide feedback to counsel on operational documents and agreements.

• Coordinate risk monitoring and compliance activities with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit departments.

• Investigate and resolve control and client service issues.

• Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, interested parties, and alliance/service partners to structure and finalize transactions.

• Manage cash flows, fee billing, reporting, and tickler processing.

• Engage in sales calls, prepare fee proposals, assess fees, and monitor aged receivables.

• Foster relationships with clients and referral sources, while identifying new business opportunities.

• Represent GCM during transaction closings and lead or participate in client meetings and presentations.

• Identify and implement approved fee increases, discounts, and waivers.

• Provide coverage and support for other Relationship Managers.

• Represent GCM and/or lead departmental projects and corporate initiatives.

• Assist in the development and operation of business products and processes.

• May supervise and/or mentor junior associates.

• Comply with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards and escalate issues to management.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in client service within Global Capital Markets products or markets, OR a total of at least 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years in client service related to Global Capital Markets.

• High proficiency in personal computers and relevant software applications.

• Experience in reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.

• Background in calculating amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

• Familiarity with corporate structures, applicable laws, and regulations.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Preferred: Certification as a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS).

• Preferred: Familiarity with key specialized internal software applications.

• Preferred: Experience in managerial or leadership roles.

• Preferred: Proven sense of ownership in responsibilities or projects.
