Gastroenterology Utilization Review – Contract 1099

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Perform independent Utilization Reviews in the field of Gastroenterology.

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions during available daytime hours.

• Evaluate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Follow company policies and procedures related to the confidentiality, privacy, and security of sensitive health information.

• Complete around 1–2 hours of review work weekly, without any minimum commitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Medical Degree (MD or DO).

• Valid medical license in the state of Oregon.

• Current Board Certification in Gastroenterology.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience, inclusive of residency.

• Availability during daytime for peer-to-peer conversations.

• Capability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.

• Patient records must be maintained within the United States.
