This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Instruct G1-G2 mathematics utilizing Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson resources, and instructional support.
• Facilitate virtual classes while fostering a welcoming, positive, and high-expectation learning atmosphere for early learners.
• Evaluate homework and deliver prompt feedback.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom conduct, and learning habits.
• Grasp lesson objectives and recognize common challenges faced by students.
• Engage in training, lesson preparation, and continuous professional development.
• Enhance teaching and service methods based on constructive feedback.
• A bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized college or university.
• A solid foundation in mathematics and comfort with U.S. elementary school math content or higher.
• Proficient and confident English instruction skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with parents and internal team members in Chinese or bilingually.
• Significant prior experience with young learners, such as tutoring, camp instruction, after-school programs, classroom teaching, or mentoring.
• A strong service-oriented mindset and proactive communication with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Willingness to receive feedback and adapt teaching and service strategies swiftly.
• Interest in pursuing a long-term teaching career and professional growth at Think Academy.
• Availability during the specified class times and at least one weekend day.
• Commitment for a minimum of one year, through May 2027.
• Capacity to work approximately 30–40 hours per week.
• Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area are preferred.
• Experience as a team leader, mentor, or teaching assistant; background in math competitions; curriculum design or teacher training experience are additional qualifications.
