FVP, Product Management – Borrow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete Borrow experience roadmap, encompassing loan management, payments, notifications, and cross-selling.

• Establish and implement a product vision that provides customer-valued products and services while aligning with business goals.

• Attain product-market fit and maintain accountability for all OKRs within the product domain.

• Directly report to the SVP, Head of Consumer Product.

• Regularly present strategy, status updates, and KPIs to executive leadership.

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to set Axos apart from competitors and drive business success.

• Perform competitive analysis, benchmarking, and documentation of industry trends to uncover product opportunities and innovations.

• Collaborate with senior executives to align product roadmaps with overarching business needs and strategies.

• Lead large-scale platform initiatives in partnership with Business Units, UI/UX, Technology, and Operations.

• Facilitate go-to-market execution by aligning cross-functional dependencies with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other teams.

• Maintain regular communication with product team members and business stakeholders to ensure product alignment.

• Conduct A/B testing on alternative solutions to learn and enhance KPIs.

• Review and manage product reporting, including metrics on adoption, usage, and funnel conversion.

• Oversee vendor and partnership relationships, conduct build-versus-buy analyses, and perform ROI modeling.

• Supervise multiple VPs to ensure functional alignment.

• Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

• Utilize AI across all processes to efficiently deliver results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, or a related field.

• More than 3 years of product leadership or relevant management experience.

• Background in digital lending experiences, fintech, or other related industries.

• Experience working with teams across diverse geographical locations.

• Proficiency in integrating AI capabilities into direct-to-consumer product experiences.

• Product-based experience showcasing key feature ownership and accountability for KPIs.

• Proven ability to lead a diverse team by setting an example, establishing processes, guiding best practices, and enhancing team member skills.

• Experience with analytics and reporting using tools such as Tableau, Pendo, etc.

• Capability to generate a product vision and outline a path to success.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

• High emotional intelligence to manage cross-functional project teams effectively.

• A genuine passion for addressing customer issues and creating digital experiences.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives concurrently.

• Ability to quickly adapt and reprioritize to meet changing demands.

• Exceptional work ethic; proactively and energetically drives desired results.

• Proven ability to “manage up” and foster accountability.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

• A demonstrable history of achieving outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
