Fuzhou – Chinese Remote Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between Foochowese and English speakers.

• Process information efficiently and accurately in a professional manner.

• Professionally answer calls in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Be knowledgeable about industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional development training.

• Communicate and provide updates to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Foochowese.

• At least 1 year of experience in interpretation.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to convey accurate concepts and meanings in line with established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client's consent or request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Must have Windows 10 or Mac operating system.

• A quiet and secure workspace is necessary.

• Language assessment and background check may be mandated based on location.
