Fundraising and Donor Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and profile key donors, foundations, and conference participants ahead of CEO meetings.

• Compose outreach emails, thank-you notes, and cultivation communications on behalf of the CEO.

• Guide donors through the cultivation pipeline from initial contact to secured funding commitment.

• Identify and monitor grant opportunities that align with Parity’s mission.

• Oversee grant submission timelines from start to finish.

• Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, donor reports, and major gift case statements.

• Equip the CEO for speaking engagements and conferences with comprehensive briefing materials.

• Maintain and regularly update the donor CRM.

• Actively propose new funding strategies and prospect ideas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, nonprofit development, major gifts, or a donor-facing fundraising position.

• A track record of successfully writing grant proposals or major donor communications that led to funding.

• Familiarity with donor cultivation strategies and the major gifts cycle.

• Ability to operate as an extension of a CEO or senior leader—writing in their voice, representing their brand, and ensuring follow-through.

• Experience in a startup, early-stage organization, or resource-limited environment is a distinct advantage.

• CRM experience (any platform) is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote, startup setting with minimal guidance and high expectations.

• Exceptional writing skills.
