Funding Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and oversee all functions and operations of the Funding Department.

• Lead the Funding Leadership Team within the designated territory.

• Collaborate with Divisional Vice Presidents, Regional Area Directors, Branch Leaders, Assistive Technology Professionals, and other leadership and support staff.

• Manage the transaction cycle from Ready to Process to Funding Approval.

• Coordinate and supervise the hiring, training, mentoring, performance management, continuing education, and career advancement of the Funding Specialist Team.

• Create and sustain training materials, guides, and progress reports.

• Oversee the career development of the Funding Leadership Team.

• Monitor the productivity, quality, and compassion of Funding Specialists and Lead Funding Specialists.

• Direct work order caseloads and adjust responsibilities as necessary.

• Arrange for temporary coverage to ensure timely and quality order processing with compassion.

• Regularly share Key Performance Indicators with direct reports and stakeholders.

• Calculate and request monthly bonus payments for direct reports.

• Manage the credit exception process to expedite delivery as appropriate and directed.

• Address employee and client conflicts, escalating unresolved issues as needed.

• Handle payroll and administrative tasks for direct reports.

• Complete continuing education related to job responsibilities, policies, procedures, NSM University courses, and payer issues.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Funding Director.

• Execute position expectations professionally and with minimal oversight.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing at least 10 direct reports.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capable of reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions, and governmental regulations.

• Must meet established productivity and quality benchmarks.

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

• Ability to work in a professional corporate office or an approved, secure, HIPAA-compliant home office.

• Proficient in using standard digital office equipment and productivity tools.

• Ability to remain stationary at a desk for extended periods, with the flexibility to sit or stand as needed.

• Capable of consistently operating a computer, keyboard, and other standard digital office productivity tools.

• Ability to frequently communicate and exchange accurate information with internal stakeholders, business partners, clients, and colleagues.
