This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, oversee, and execute innovative rehabilitation strategies focused on return-to-work objectives for plan members.
• Foster positive relationships through regular communication and collaboration with plan sponsors, members, treatment providers, and internal teams.
• Propel cases towards a successful return to work or readiness for job resolution.
• Oversee vendors and budgets to guarantee that effective and efficient treatments are accessible to plan members.
• Fulfill daily administrative responsibilities, including prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
• Engage with plan members using resilience, emotional intelligence, and compassion, including conveying challenging messages.
• Bilingualism in English and French is beneficial; proficiency in both languages is mandatory if the successful candidate is located in Québec.
• A post-secondary diploma, CEGEP (DEC or DEP), or a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Preference will be given to applicants with education in Health Sciences and direct experience in a rehabilitation environment.
• Strong understanding of Rehabilitation Industry Standards, disability insurance, medical terminology, and best practices in Disability and Rehabilitation management.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen focus on detail and accuracy.
• Capability to make impactful decisions swiftly and effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proficient and comfortable in managing both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as travel to various locations may be necessary.
