This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create, oversee, and execute innovative, goal-oriented rehabilitation strategies focused on returning plan members to work.
• Establish strong relationships through regular communication and collaboration with plan sponsors, treatment providers, internal partners, and plan members.
• Propel cases towards a successful return to work or readiness for job resolution.
• Oversee vendors and budgets to guarantee that effective and efficient treatments are accessible to plan members.
• Carry out daily administrative duties, including prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
• Exhibit resilience, emotional intelligence, and empathy while communicating with plan members, particularly when conveying challenging messages.
• Bilingualism in English and French is a plus; proficiency in both languages will be mandatory if the successful candidate is located in Québec.
• A post-secondary diploma, CEGEP (DEC or DEP), or a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related program.
• Preference for candidates with Health Sciences education and direct experience in a rehabilitation environment.
• Strong understanding of Rehabilitation Industry Standards, disability insurance, medical terminology, and best practices in Disability and Rehabilitation management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions under pressure.
• Proficient and comfortable in managing both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; travel to various locations may be required.
