Functional QA Engineer – Temporary Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional and regression testing for WordPress and WooCommerce applications.

• Assess emergency profile workflows and user experiences.

• Verify application functionality after security, PHP, architectural, and infrastructure modifications.

• Test role-based access control (RBAC) permissions and various access scenarios.

• Validate workflows for QR-based access and profile retrieval.

• Design, implement, and maintain thorough test cases.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects until resolution.

• Collaborate effectively with developers and project stakeholders to ensure product quality.

• Assist in validation efforts related to platform modernization, security enhancements, and compliance initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in Functional Quality Assurance.

• Strong background in conducting manual and functional testing.

• Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.

• Proficient in conducting regression testing.

• Skilled in validating end-to-end user flows and business processes.

• Strong abilities in defect identification, documentation, and reporting.

• Capability to work independently and manage testing activities with limited supervision.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Remarkable attention to detail and communication abilities.

• Experience with testing WordPress applications (preferred).

• Experience with testing WooCommerce implementations (preferred).

• Awareness of security testing (preferred).

• Exposure to automation tools or frameworks (preferred).

• Experience validating Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) (preferred).

• Experience testing QR-based workflows or access scenarios (preferred).

• Familiarity with healthcare, compliance, or security-sensitive applications (preferred).
