
Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Organize, prepare, and lead meetings with accounting firms, from project initiation through to lessons learned.
• Assess business requirements based on field feedback and migration experiences.
• Create documentation and user stories.
• Conduct workshops and webinars.
• Ensure migrations adhere to a well-defined, documented process.
• Tailor the approach to each scenario while following established protocols.
• Clearly communicate how technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Act as the information liaison with the PSS Back team responsible for integration, fixes, and checks.
• Assist in configuring Pennylane in accordance with the business processes of accounting firms.
• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving business challenges post-migration.
• Conduct both intermediate and final functional testing.
• Contribute to post-migration reports and suggest enhancements.
• Identify and prioritize needs for automation and optimization.
• Keep track of product and business developments.
• Recommend improvements and report any gaps or malfunctions.
• Aid in transforming business needs into actionable solutions.
• Grasp the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and offer occasional production support as necessary.
• Accounting qualification: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or Master's degree in Accounting and Audit (CCA).
• Experience working in an accounting firm.
• Preferably, experience with one or more accounting migrations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship management skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptability to rapid product changes.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Pennylane’s functional advancements.
• Minimum A2 level of proficiency in English.
