
Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Organize, prepare, and lead meetings with accounting firms, from the initiation of projects to the evaluation of outcomes.
• Assess business requirements based on feedback from the field and experiences with migrations.
• Create documentation and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and webinars.
• Ensure that migrations adhere to a well-defined and documented process.
• Tailor approaches to fit individual situations while maintaining compliance with established processes.
• Articulate how technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Act as the communication liaison with the PSS Back team, overseeing integration, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
• Assist in configuring Pennylane in accordance with the business processes of accounting firms.
• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving business challenges post-migration.
• Conduct both interim and final functional assessments.
• Contribute to post-migration documentation and suggest areas for improvement.
• Identify and prioritize needs for automation and optimization.
• Take part in implementing enhancements and monitoring user satisfaction among business clients.
• Keep product and business knowledge current through continuous monitoring.
• Suggest improvements and report any gaps or issues.
• Translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
• Recognize the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and provide production support as needed.
• Accounting qualifications: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), Advanced Technician Certificate in Accounting and Management (BTS CGO), Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG), Higher Diploma in Accounting and Management (DSCG), or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing (CCA).
• Experience in an accounting firm.
• Previous involvement in one or more migration projects is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Service-oriented approach with strong customer relationship management skills.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to adapt to swift changes in product offerings.
• Desire for continuous learning and staying informed about Pennylane’s functional advancements.
• Proficiency in English at A2 level or higher.
