
Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Organize, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, from project initiation through to post-project evaluation.
• Assess business requirements based on field insights and migration experiences.
• Develop documentation and user stories.
• Lead workshops and webinars.
• Ensure migrations adhere to a well-defined, documented process.
• Tailor the approach to each scenario while adhering to established procedures.
• Articulate how technical solutions correspond with business requirements.
• Serve as the information liaison with the PSS Back team responsible for integration, fixes, and controls.
• Assist in configuring Pennylane to align with the business processes of accounting firms.
• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and resolving business challenges post-migration.
• Conduct both intermediate and final functional tests.
• Contribute to post-migration reports and suggest enhancements.
• Identify and prioritize needs for automation and optimization.
• Participate in implementation and track business-user satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of product and business advancements.
• Suggest improvements and highlight gaps or malfunctions.
• Convert needs into practical solutions.
• Understand the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and occasionally assist in production.
• Accounting qualification: IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Audit (CCA).
• Experience in an accounting firm, preferably with exposure to one or more migrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented attitude and strong customer relationship capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to swift product changes.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with Pennylane’s functional enhancements.
• Minimum English proficiency: A2.
