
Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Organize, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, spanning from project initiation to post-project evaluation.
• Assess business requirements based on field insights and prior migration experiences.
• Draft documentation and user stories.
• Lead workshops and webinars for knowledge sharing.
• Guarantee a well-documented and transparent migration process.
• Tailor the approach to fit each unique situation while adhering to established processes.
• Articulate how technical solutions correspond with business objectives.
• Communicate updates to the PSS Back team, which is responsible for integration, fixes, and quality assurance.
• Assist in configuring Pennylane to align with the business processes of accounting firms.
• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and addressing business challenges following migration.
• Perform both intermediate and final functional testing.
• Participate in post-migration reporting and suggest enhancements.
• Identify and prioritize areas for automation and optimization.
• Monitor user satisfaction levels after each enhancement.
• Keep abreast of product and business developments.
• Suggest improvements and report any discrepancies or malfunctions.
• Convert needs into actionable solutions.
• Recognize the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and offer occasional production support when required.
• Accounting qualification: IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or a Master’s degree in Accounting and Audit (CCA).
• Experience working in an accounting firm.
• Prior experience with one or more migrations is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to swiftly changing product requirements.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and stay updated on Pennylane’s functional advancements.
• Minimum English proficiency level: A2.
