Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Organize, prepare, and lead meetings with accounting firms, from the initiation of projects to post-project evaluations.

• Assess business requirements based on field insights and migration experiences.

• Create documentation and user stories.

• Facilitate workshops and webinars.

• Ensure that migrations adhere to a well-defined and documented process.

• Tailor the approach to each situation while adhering to established processes.

• Communicate how technical solutions meet business requirements.

• Relay information to the PSS Back team responsible for integration, problem resolution, and quality assurance.

• Assist in configuring Pennylane according to the operational processes of accounting firms.

• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.

• Collaborate on troubleshooting and addressing business challenges post-migration.

• Conduct both intermediate and final functional testing.

• Contribute to post-migration evaluations and suggest enhancements.

• Identify and prioritize needs for automation and optimization.

• Monitor user satisfaction following product upgrades.

• Maintain knowledge of products and business processes through continuous monitoring.

• Suggest improvements and report on gaps or malfunctions.

• Translate business requirements into practical solutions.

• Comprehend the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and offer occasional production support.


⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in Accounting: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing (CCA).

• Experience working in an accounting firm.

• Previous exposure to one or more migrations is advantageous.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong service orientation and customer relations skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Adaptability to rapid changes in product offerings.

• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and stay informed about developments in Pennylane's functionalities.

• Proficiency in English at A2 level or higher.
