Functional Project Manager – Accounting Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Organize, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, from the initial project kickoff to post-project reviews.

• Assess business requirements based on field insights and migration experiences.

• Create documentation and user stories.

• Lead workshops and webinars.

• Ensure a comprehensive, documented migration process.

• Tailor approaches to diverse situations while maintaining adherence to established processes.

• Communicate the alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.

• Act as the information liaison with the PSS Back team responsible for integration, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.

• Assist in configuring Pennylane to align with the business processes of accounting firms.

• Engage in functional testing prior to migration.

• Work collaboratively to debug and resolve business challenges post-migration.

• Perform intermediate and final functional testing.

• Contribute to post-migration reporting and suggest enhancements.

• Identify and prioritize needs for automation and optimization.

• Keep abreast of product and industry advancements.

• Propose improvements and highlight any gaps or issues.

• Assist in translating business needs into actionable solutions.

• Provide occasional support for PSS Back production activities when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualification in Accounting: IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or a Master’s degree in Accounting and Audit (CCA).

• Experience working in an accounting firm, preferably with participation in one or more migration projects.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong customer service orientation and relationship management skills.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Adaptability to swiftly changing product landscapes.

• Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about Pennylane’s functional advancements.

• Minimum proficiency in English: A2 level.
