This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform functional evaluations of existing roles, responsibilities, workflows, and functions to pinpoint areas for process enhancement and identify capability gaps within SCPO programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Lead process mapping and discovery sessions, assess administrative, business, and operational workflows, and create recommendations to eliminate inefficiencies, minimize redundancy, and enhance alignment between operational needs and mission goals.
• Collaborate closely with SCPO program leaders, clinical service line managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to convert improvement opportunities into actionable and sustainable solutions.
• Create and sustain process documentation, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and standard work that foster continuous quality improvement across SCPO's specialty care programs and enterprise projects.
• Utilize Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to design digital trackers, automate workflows, and create performance dashboards that enhance data quality, visibility, and decision-making.
• Assist in establishing centralized SharePoint workspaces and knowledge repositories, advocate for the adoption of standardized practices across teams, and prepare briefings, presentations, and program materials that convey process improvement insights and recommendations to Government leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, operations management, or program analysis, ideally within a federal agency or healthcare environment.
• Proven experience in conducting functional assessments, process/workflow mapping, current versus future state evaluations, and generating improvement recommendations, templates, tools, and standard work to support continuous quality enhancement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Power Platform applications.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the capability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with VA/VHA and/or other federal health agencies.
• Background in analyzing and redesigning administrative, business, and operations management processes to boost efficiency and standardization, utilizing SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI for developing automated workflows, digital trackers, and performance dashboards.
• Experience in creating centralized SharePoint workspaces and knowledge repositories, standardizing practices, and promoting best practices across teams.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or other project or change management certification is strongly preferred.
