This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Guide and instruct students utilizing university and departmental protocols and resources.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and weekly tasks.
• Address student inquiries and concerns regarding course material and assignments in a timely manner.
• Enhance learning through announcements, emails, occasional one-on-one virtual sessions, and videos.
• Regularly communicate with students about their participation and academic performance.
• Conduct targeted outreach based on student trends and requirements.
• Foster authentic and meaningful relationships with students through consistent communication.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies for the entire class, groups, and individual students.
• Monitor communication records and significant student interactions.
• Plan suitable follow-up actions.
• Engage in occasional training sessions and meetings.
• Incorporate feedback from training and evaluations to enhance performance.
• Teach and mentor students in backend and fullstack web development courses, encompassing databases, web backend, web services, and fullstack development.
• Contribute to the overall course delivery while graders manage assignment evaluations.
• Applicants must be fluent in both English and Portuguese.

• Candidates must reside in Brazil and possess authorization to work there.

• Demonstrated reliability and capability to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, video conferencing tools, and discipline-specific software.
• Clear written communication skills are essential.
• A completed bachelor’s degree is mandatory; documentation for a master’s degree is also acceptable.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Knowledge of Node.js and React.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Academic credentials must be officially recognized in Brazil and the country of origin.
• In-progress transcripts and associate-level degrees are not acceptable.
