Fullstack Tech Lead, .Net, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of six engineers, taking ownership of delivery, execution quality, and the technical direction at the team level.

• Serve as the primary representative of the team, collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to planning, prioritization, and resource allocation at the team level.

• Develop and enhance backend services utilizing .NET 8 and .NET 10, contributing 30–40% of your time hands-on.

• Create and improve the product toolset based on PowerShell and Azure DevOps, also contributing 30–40% hands-on.

• Design and implement cloud-native applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Facilitate end-to-end delivery using Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management.

• Collaborate with infrastructure defined through Terraform and Crossplane.

• Ensure production readiness concerning security, observability, reliability, and performance.

• Maintain code quality, testing standards, and manage technical debt within the team.

• Balance on-call duties and customer priorities with team-level delivery commitments.

• Mentor engineers, promote clear technical communication, and uphold high engineering standards.

• Participate in L3 on-call rotation, managing incident triage and driving root-cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on backend development in .NET.

• Demonstrated experience as a tech lead or senior engineer responsible for team delivery.

• Practical experience in building and operating applications on Azure (AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, network services) or a comparable cloud stack.

• Strong understanding of containerized applications and Kubernetes.

• Significant experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure DevOps.

• Excellent debugging and production troubleshooting capabilities.

• Effective communication skills to ensure alignment and execution without ambiguity.

• Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on ownership and delivering results.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and GitOps workflows.

• Hands-on experience with the Grafana LGTM stack.

• Experience in high-availability, production SaaS environments.
