Fullstack Software Developer – PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, document, test, and troubleshoot both new and existing software systems, applications, and components.

• Make design choices that promote reusability, componentization, extensibility, maintainability, and minimal coupling.

• Identify and resolve complex customer issues.

• Execute advanced development, testing, and debugging tasks.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies.

• Remain informed about business initiatives and objectives relevant to infrastructure and development architecture.

• Encourage continuous improvement across technology domains and foster this mindset within the team.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to Software Development team members as an escalation resource.

• Create and manage containerized applications using Docker to ensure portability and scalability.

• Transition between projects as priorities shift and contribute throughout the entire software development life cycle.

• Work across various layers, including application front-end, middle-layer, and database.

• Undertake other tasks assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems is preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of related industry experience.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.

• Proficient in PHP.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Experience with API integrations.

• Knowledge of RESTful web services.

• Understanding of both structured and unstructured databases.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly JavaScript and React.

• Proficient in using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.

• Experience with AI coding tools, preferably Cursor.
