Fullstack QA Engineer – OPS Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on web applications within Creatio-based environments.

• Execute both manual and automated tests across APIs, databases, backend services, and integrations.

• Enhance the current Kotlin-based automation framework by incorporating new tests while adhering to established patterns.

• Take ownership of end-to-end quality for the product area within Creatio-based solutions.

• Assess APIs, backend integrations, business rules, and data integrity.

• Evaluate new features from product, technical, and user-risk perspectives prior to commencing testing.

• Engage in technical reviews, sprint planning, grooming, and discussions regarding requirements.

• Identify potential risks, clarify acceptance criteria, and define the testing strategy.

• Design, maintain, and implement test cases for both new and existing features.

• Develop and sustain automated API tests utilizing the current Kotlin-based framework.

• Examine logs, database records, and system functionality to identify, replicate, and document defects.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product managers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure stable releases and enhance testing coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA automation for backend/API-centric systems.

• Proficiency in Kotlin with the ability to contribute to existing automated test suites.

• Extensive hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications, APIs, and microservices.

• Familiarity with writing and executing SQL queries for data validation purposes.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and various testing types: smoke, regression, functional, and integration.

• Capability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and suggest a feasible testing strategy.

• Experience in testing CRM or BPM platforms, preferably Creatio (desirable).

• Experience in testing applications within a financial institution (desirable).

• Experience with writing automated UI tests (desirable).
