Fullstack Engineer, Go, Vue.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services and event-driven integrations as a team member, collaborating with a senior engineer.

• Create and manage event schemas and data models across various services.

• Evaluate AI-generated code and peer submissions for accuracy, maintainability, and data integrity.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements prior to and during the implementation phase.

• Engage in design discussions, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

• Adapt to different programming languages and codebases as priorities change.

• Contribute to the development of internal tools and integrations that support Viper's provisioning, installation, and monitoring processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience in building production backend services.

• At least 3 years of professional backend development experience using Go.

• Practical experience with at least one of .NET or Node.js.

• Frontend development experience with Vue.js.

• Production-level experience with AWS Lambda, S3, EKS, and CloudFront.

• Professional experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms, including topic design and consumer scaling.

• Hands-on experience in building and consuming GraphQL APIs using Apollo or Hasura.

• Strong expertise in relational data modeling with PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Experience in implementing observability and monitoring using Datadog or equivalent APM tools.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code.

• Strong professional English skills and effective cross-functional communication abilities.
