Fullstack Developer, Python/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Assist in the transition of current Delphi and Zoho applications to contemporary web architectures.

• Develop and improve frontend features utilizing React and backend services with Python and Django.

• Collaborate on both frontend and backend components to ensure dependable, comprehensive functionality.

• Support and enhance applications including Zoho CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, and Analytics.

• Implement custom functions, workflows, and automation of business processes using Deluge when appropriate.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Delphi (Object Pascal) applications.

• Create and utilize RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations across legacy systems, modern web services, databases, and third-party platforms.

• Write and optimize SQL queries; aid in data migration and validation while maintaining data integrity.

• Leverage AI-assisted coding and development tools to speed up implementation, comprehend legacy codebases, generate and validate tests, troubleshoot issues, and enhance workflows.

• Work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

• Convert requirements into thoroughly tested and documented solutions.

• Adhere to Git, code review, and CI/CD practices while managing assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Practical experience in full stack development, maintenance of legacy applications, system integrations, or legacy modernization projects.

• Proficient in Python, preferably with Django experience.

• Experience in modern JavaScript or TypeScript development.

• React experience is desirable.

• Strong SQL skills are essential.

• Experience in maintaining, migrating, refactoring, or modernizing legacy applications.

• Ability to comprehend existing codebases and transition legacy functionalities to modern architectures.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Git, version control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience with Azure is preferred; AWS or GCP experience is also beneficial.

• Proactive in utilizing AI tools for coding, unfamiliar codebases, automation, testing, and technical problem-solving.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and a willingness to explore new AI capabilities.

• Familiarity with Delphi (Object Pascal), Zoho platforms, Deluge scripting, or Zoho workflow automation is a plus, but not mandatory.
