Fullstack Developer, Node/React III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide value directly to VDI users, particularly sales consultants in the Reseller Space and franchisees of Grupo Boticário.

• Suggest and develop solutions while taking into account development lifecycle practices, non-functional requirements, and cost efficiency.

• Engage in technical discussions and implement architectures that have been prioritized by the team.

• Create Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) and design documentation.

• Ensure ongoing monitoring of the production environment and critical user journeys.

• Monitor, challenge, and share metrics and trade-offs related to technical solutions.

• Assume responsibility for issues and outages by troubleshooting and identifying root causes.

• Document postmortems and implement corrective action plans.

• Assist colleagues in their technical development through pairing, code reviews, and constructive feedback.

• Share technical expertise and collaborate with developers from other teams.

• Develop reusable artifacts for the squad/tribe.

• Participate in product discussions, analysis, refinement, and documentation of requirements.

• Focus on high-impact activities, foresee problems, and eliminate blockers.

• Transform abstract concepts into actionable tasks during planning and refinement sessions.

• Define solutions and engage in epic refinement.

• Write code with a strong emphasis on security.

• Enhance automated test coverage.

• Influence and promote enhancements in code quality and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional, multilingual, and collaborative setting.

• Experience in back-end development, preferably with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (Node.js).

• Front-end development experience, ideally with JavaScript and/or React.

• Extensive experience with automated testing strategies and their implementation, including unit, E2E, and regression testing.

• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB).

• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitFlow, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Sonar.

• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures.

• Experience with incident management and observability/monitoring tools such as New Relic and Crashlytics.

• Knowledge of or experience with AWS infrastructure and fundamentals, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, ElastiCache for Redis, and AWS Glue.

• Experience with agile methodologies like Kanban.

• Ability to document processes, postmortems, APIs, and ADRs, and influence the ongoing maintenance of this documentation.

• Nice to have: experience supporting less senior colleagues; familiarity with experimentation tools (VWO, Optimizely, Firebase A/B Testing), hexagonal/clean architecture, and AI development/use.
