Fullstack Developer, Java, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend and frontend product functionalities for Workflow and Automation solutions.

• Construct and uphold backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Create responsive frontend capabilities using React and contemporary state management techniques.

• Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and other development teams.

• Contribute to the evolution of SaaS architecture, enhancing scalability, reliability, and support for thousands of tenants.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability in production environments.

• Share expertise, assist teammates, and provide technical support to customers as needed.

• Participate in a small, empowered Scrum team to deliver features driven by user and business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust commercial experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot, encompassing RESTful APIs, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Data JDBC.

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js for backend development, serverless functions, or API resolvers.

• Significant frontend development expertise with React 18, modern state management tools like Redux or TanStack Query, and routing libraries.

• Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and application architecture, including associated trade-offs.

• Experience in writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, Vitest, and Playwright.

• Proficiency in Git, Maven, Docker, and a suitable development IDE.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on approach.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team environment.

• Good command of English communication skills at a B2 level or higher.

• Eagerness to learn and pursue continuous professional development.
