Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.

• Participate in defining architecture and frontend technical solutions.

• Develop features for Web, Administration, Payments, Toolbox, and Smart TV platforms.

• Implement responsive, accessible, and optimized interfaces for various devices.

• Work with video players and streaming technologies such as HLS, DASH, and MSE.

• Implement navigation and user experience tailored to Smart TV, including D-pad, focus management, and spatial navigation.

• Conduct code reviews, validate technical specifications, and ensure adherence to development standards.

• Engage in the definition and evolution of reusable components and the design system.

• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests.

• Ensure performance, accessibility, and quality metrics throughout the development cycle.

• Collaborate with UX, Product Owner, QA, Backend, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into technological solutions.

• Validate technical specifications alongside UX and Product Owner.

• Propose and validate frontend architecture.

• Provide technical guidance to the team and promote best practices.

• Rotate between Web, Smart TV, and Smart TV Hosted according to business priorities.

• Utilize and oversee AI agents, critically reviewing generated code to ensure technical standards, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Document relevant decisions through ADRs and facilitate coordination among UX, PO, QA, Backend, and Frontend teams.

• Ensure compliance with CP-5 / CP-6 standards, WCAG 2.2 AA, performance budgets, automated testing, E2E, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Proactively identify technical risks, regressions, and technical debt.

• Senior/staff frontend experience with strong expertise in React and TypeScript.

• JavaScript (ES6+).

• TypeScript 5.3+.

• React 18.2+/19, React Router, React Hooks, Context API.

• Redux Toolkit + Redux-Saga, Zustand, TanStack Query / React Query.

• MUI 5/6, Emotion / styled-components, CSS Modules.

• Vite 5+, Webpack 5, Turborepo, pnpm / management of monorepos.

• Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress, Vitest.

• Shaka Player 4.7+, HLS.js, HLS, DASH, MSE.

• Tizen/webOS APIs, D-pad and focus management, spatial navigation, experience with Samsung/LG certification.

• Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, bundle size budgets, code splitting, lazy loading.

• Meta tags, Open Graph, sitemaps, service workers, Web App Manifest.

• Stripe.js, PayPal SDK, Google Pay, Apple Pay.

• Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, MediaStream Events.

• GitHub Actions, Vercel/CloudFront, basic Docker.

• Desirable knowledge: Node.js, Next.js 14+, Jotai, Recoil, Tailwind CSS, Module Federation, Storybook, Chromatic, Video.js, React Native TV, Android TV Leanback, Next.js Server Components, AMP, MercadoPago SDK, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
