FullStack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices.

• Define API contracts and integration standards using OpenAPI.

• Develop backend services primarily with Node.js, while also participating in Java and Go solutions.

• Implement integrations with payment systems, authentication, notifications, billing, and OTT platforms.

• Design data models, indexes, and caching strategies focused on performance and scalability.

• Implement authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms.

• Develop integrations through events, messaging, webhooks, and serverless services.

• Implement unit, integration, contract, and load testing.

• Incorporate observability through metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and SLO monitoring.

• Participate in code reviews, architectural definition, and technical problem resolution.

• Collaborate with Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.

• Identify and manage technical debt, security risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Utilize AI agents to accelerate the implementation of endpoints and microservices, delegating tasks to DevBE agents and supervising their results.

• Document architectural decisions through ADRs and maintain clear documentation of APIs and integrations.

• Ensure coverage of unit and integration tests, consistent and versioned API contracts, security, performance, and resilience of services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mandatory technical experience with Node.js 20 LTS, Express 4.x+, NestJS, REST/OpenAPI 3.1, basic GraphQL, and JWT/OAuth2.

• Experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot 2.x/3.x, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, and REST/OpenAPI.

• Experience with Go 1.22+, net/http, goroutines/channels, REST APIs, and testing with testing + Testify.

• Experience with PostgreSQL 15, MongoDB 7, Redis 7 Cluster, schema design, indexes, and tuning.

• Knowledge of Kafka, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Socket.IO, Redis Streams, and Webhooks.

• Familiarity with Keycloak 16/23, JWT, SSO/SAML, RBAC, and refresh tokens.

• Understanding of Redis Cluster, CDN, caching strategies, rate limiting, and circuit breakers.

• Experience with Jest/Supertest, JUnit/Mockito, Go Testing, Postman/Newman, and k6 Load Testing.

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Sentry, Datadog, and PagerDuty.

• Knowledge of Docker, basic Kubernetes/Helm, basic Terraform, and GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, Snyk/SonarQube, secrets management, mTLS, and WAF.

• Desirable skills: Fastify, Hapi, Quarkus, Micronaut, Gin, Echo, gRPC, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, RabbitMQ, NATS, OAuth2 Proxy, DPoP, Varnish, Edge Caching, Pact, Contract Testing, Jaeger, Tempo, ArgoCD, AWS/Huawei Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, and cert-manage.

• Ability to rotate between Node.js, Java, and Go services based on business priorities.

• Technical autonomy, informal leadership, and ownership of solution quality.
