Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design solutions, and effectively implement business requirements.

• Provide work estimates to facilitate project planning.

• Create sustainable, low-maintenance, and scalable software solutions.

• Mitigate technical debt whenever possible.

• Collaborate with peer system owners to comprehend, document, and address upstream and downstream impacts.

• Develop solutions following established industry standards, best practices, and technologies.

• Assist business users during User Acceptance Testing.

• Carefully deploy solutions with thorough contingency planning.

• Support and organize Release Management, Runbooks, and Hypercare processes.

• Work alongside colleagues in Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Testing, and Digital Operations.

• Document technical designs, constraints, and codebases for knowledge sharing, cross-training, and impact assessments.

• Ensure adherence to organizational, legal, regulatory, departmental, SOX, and security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a Software Engineer/Developer capacity.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred.

• Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous improvement and intellectual curiosity.

• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously while fostering strong team relationships.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and geographically diverse stakeholders.

• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks, such as SOX.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and software delivery methodologies.

• Proficient in .NET Core / C#, PL/SQL, and JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Knowledge of React is a plus.

• Experience with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code.

• Background with relational databases, particularly Oracle; PL/SQL expertise is essential.

• Experience in building responsive websites and UI design.

• Experience in developing .NET Web Services and consuming Web APIs.

• Experience in writing back-end C# unit tests.

• Strong understanding of Git and Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with or experience in AI development practices, including GitHub Copilot.

• Exceptional time and work management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Comfortable presenting solutions and updates to senior business stakeholders.

• Ability to balance technical aspects with business priorities.

• Strong planning, prioritization, organization, and attention to detail.

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
