Full-Stack Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Development of responsive and functional web applications for research and innovative projects, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.

• Collaboration with UI/UX designers and system architects to design and implement user-centric, scalable, and secure interfaces and application architectures.

• Integration with RESTful APIs and management of SQL/NoSQL databases, users, roles, and data flows between subsystems.

• Incorporation of data analysis, dashboards, AI/ML workflows, and interactive functionalities into research prototypes.

• Assistance in setting up development environments, versioning through Git, and deployment in staging/production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

• Writing documentation, user manuals, installation guides, and providing support for project deliverables in frontend/backend development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 2-4 years of experience in web application development (frontend or full stack).

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Angular, Vue).

• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java.

• Strong knowledge of managing RESTful APIs and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Familiarity with Git and Agile environments (Jira, Scrum).

• Ability to document and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in EU or GR funded projects.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge or interest in web accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices.
