Full Stack Software Engineer – Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete systems architecture for a scalable and resilient data ingestion pipeline that spans both edge and cloud environments, utilizing Redis, RabbitMQ, and custom services.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to frontend and backend engineers; guide technical decisions, perform code reviews, and set best practices along with comprehensive documentation.

• Drive the design decisions for full-stack systems, encompassing distributed data flows, message queuing, API architecture, data models, and UI component structures.

• Lead a development team focused on AI capabilities, overseeing guardrails, validation layers, end-to-end testing, and supporting systems.

• Decompose product and design requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks and delegate them across the team.

• Create responsive front-end experiences using React and contemporary component libraries.

• Develop secure back-end services utilizing C#/.NET, REST APIs, modular design principles, and Entity Framework.

• Collaborate with design, product, DevSecOps, and field teams to ensure quick and secure feature launches.

• Propel rapid prototyping while maintaining production-grade coding standards.

• Advocate for automated testing and enforce code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Diagnose bugs, resolve performance bottlenecks, and support FedRAMP and IL5 deployment requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant software engineering experience, including previous roles in leading or mentoring engineers.

• Proven ownership of systems architecture and design for distributed, scalable systems.

• Practical experience with Redis, RabbitMQ or similar message brokers, and custom service development.

• Experience leading an AI-focused development team, including establishing guardrails, validation, end-to-end testing, and support systems.

• Proficiency in full stack development covering both frontend and backend.

• Strong skills in frontend technologies including React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.

• Solid backend expertise in C#, modern .NET, Entity Framework, relational databases, SQL, indexing, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with dependency injection, async/await, and LINQ.

• Understanding of systems design, state management, REST APIs, async data fetching, and event-driven/asynchronous messaging.

• Experience with Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, automated validation, and end-to-end testing.

• Capability to translate product and design requirements into well-defined engineering tasks.

• Knowledge of secure software development practices and CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions and GitLab.

• Comfortable leading teams in Agile or Lean environments.

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

• Active Secret or TS clearance is preferred.
