Full-Stack Software Engineer, React, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications utilizing C#, .NET Framework, and contemporary .NET versions (.NET Core / .NET 6+).

• Collaborate with legacy .NET applications, comprehend existing architecture, and pinpoint opportunities for gradual modernization.

• Refactor and upgrade legacy functionality while mitigating associated risks.

• Utilize knowledge of both monolithic and distributed/cloud-based architectures.

• Create clean, maintainable, testable, and reusable code.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and solutions based on microservices.

• Manage API contracts, versioning, authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and communication between services.

• Construct independently developed, tested, deployed, and scalable services where applicable.

• Implement asynchronous processing, messaging, and event-driven patterns.

• Develop and maintain data access layers through Entity Framework Core.

• Work with Code First approaches, database migrations, LINQ, relationships, transactions, and change tracking.

• Diagnose and enhance database queries and application performance.

• Work with SQL Server and understand relational database concepts.

• Contribute to Agile projects and participate in Scrum team workflows.

• Develop and unit test both back-end and front-end web application features, including maintenance and support.

• Collaborate with design, development, quality assurance, and operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in .NET and application development.

• Proficient in building REST APIs with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core / .NET MVC, and C#.

• Familiarity with HTML5, SCSS, TypeScript, React, and Redux.

• Experience working with Entity Framework.

• Knowledge of source control systems; Git is preferred.

• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with technical design, architecture, best practices, and patterns.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level.

• Experience with AI technologies, including the integration of AI features or tools into applications.

• Desired: Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Octopus.
