Full Stack Software Engineer, Java, React/Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications utilizing contemporary web technologies.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to testing and deployment.

• Construct and enhance APIs, microservices, and distributed systems to improve performance and scalability.

• Create and sustain React/Angular front-end applications, ensuring smooth UI/UX experiences.

• Implement backend logic utilizing Java.

• Work with cloud-native architectures and containerization tools.

• Integrate and optimize databases for effective data management.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps teams to guarantee high-quality software delivery.

• Ensure security, performance, and maintainability through adherence to best coding practices.

• Enhance development processes via automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or VueJs.

• Strong backend development expertise with Java.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or microservices architecture.

• Understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture is an advantage.

• A passion for open-source technologies and secure software development.

• Requirement to work solely from Colombia.
