Full-Stack Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain Java application code.

• Engage in Salesforce configuration and development tasks within the designated team.

• Test and resolve issues across the application environment.

• Participate in agile sprint planning and execution.

• Collaborate with other engineers on project tasks.

• Utilize Git and take part in peer code reviews.

• Maintain documentation for code and configuration changes to ensure maintainability.

• Work across backend, database, and Salesforce layers within the FHA program.

• Contribute to the PhoenixTeam's Federal Housing Administration program utilizing Java, Salesforce, AWS microservices, and PostgreSQL.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; a master's degree with 5+ years; or an associate degree with 9+ years.

• Practical experience in Java software development.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration or development.

• Must be eligible to successfully undergo the background investigation necessary for a Public Trust position and attain a favorable suitability determination.

• Preferred: Experience in Salesforce development beyond just configuration.

• Preferred: Background in AWS environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Git and involvement in peer code reviews.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting federal programs or working in the mortgage or related industries.

• Preferred: Previous experience completing a federal background investigation or clearance process.
