Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive features from the initial technical design and development stages through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Write clean, secure, readable, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional partners.

• Design, integrate, and construct both internal and external APIs.

• Create new products and features while enhancing and modernizing existing systems.

• Write and optimize SQL queries and design relational database schemas.

• Create and maintain sophisticated backend services and algorithms.

• Profile, troubleshoot, and optimize both new and legacy code.

• Develop experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.

• Frequently deploy in an agile environment with continuous integration.

• Utilize approved AI-assisted development tools while applying engineering judgment to architecture, implementation, security, privacy, and code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Profound understanding of web development concepts and principles.

• Showcase examples of full-stack projects or significant product features.

• At least one major demonstrable project that includes frontend code, backend code, and a database.

• Capability to design, develop, and launch a web application or substantial feature from inception to completion.

• Ability to learn rapidly, navigate an established codebase, and independently acquire new skills.

• A minimum of five years of professional web development experience in any technology stack.

• At least three years of experience with SQL, including relational schema design and intricate queries.

• Familiarity with web application, data, and SQL security best practices.

• Comfort in working outside framework abstractions and understanding underlying systems.

• Experience using Git within a collaborative team environment.

• Strong engineering judgment and thoughtful utilization of modern development tools, including AI assistants, with an emphasis on security, privacy, and code quality.
