Full Stack .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable microservices and applications based on .NET Core on AWS, encompassing frontend, backend, and data tiers.

• Engage in SAFe PI Planning and Agile sprint ceremonies with teams spread across multiple time zones.

• Utilize AWS CDK templates provided by the Cloud Engineering team for infrastructure setup.

• Construct, manage, and execute CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application delivery.

• Guarantee observability, high performance, and continuous monitoring of deployed services using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.

• Uphold strong unit test coverage and enforce API documentation standards for publishing on developer portals.

• Contribute to solution design discussions and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of practical experience with .NET Core (versions 6-8) and C# for effective backend development.

• Established expertise in creating scalable full-stack applications that manage frontend, backend, and data processing.

• Strong SQL abilities, including complex queries, scripts, and database interactions.

• Extensive hands-on experience in AWS API development, serverless, and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles, particularly using AWS CDK.

• Solid grasp of RESTful API design, implementation, and documentation utilizing Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Experience in constructing and managing CI/CD pipelines leveraging Git-based workflows.

• Proficient with NUnit or xUnit and practices related to Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.

• Background in Agile/SAFe environments and sprint ceremonies.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in remote and distributed teams.

• Experience in the Insurance and Claims sector.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Advanced oral English proficiency.

• Advanced Spanish language skills.

• Familiarity with Guidewire or similar implementation projects is preferred.

• Exposure to microservices architecture and design for distributed systems is preferred.

• Strong emphasis on performance optimization and adherence to observability best practices is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is preferred.

• Possession of a technologist mindset: understanding the distinction between coding and engineering.
