Full-Stack Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve applications utilizing Java 8+, Java EE, and Spring Boot.

• Create and sustain REST APIs while integrating with SOAP Web Services.

• Enhance and support existing legacy Java EE systems.

• Implement new functionalities using Spring Boot and React.

• Develop and manage responsive web user interfaces utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.

• Connect front-end applications with back-end APIs and services.

• Collaborate with relational databases and craft efficient queries.

• Engage in code reviews, adhering to development and architectural best practices.

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Utilize Apache Camel within existing workflows and integrations.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment in development and staging environments.

• Work within Docker-based environments.

• Collaborate effectively in agile teams, engaging with QA, UX, Product, and fellow developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 8+.

• Solid understanding of Java EE, including JSF, EJB, JPA, and PrimeFaces.

• Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.

• Strong skills in Git, including managing branches, commits, merges, and version control workflows.

• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Nice to have: understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Nice to have: experience with Apache Camel.

• Nice to have: knowledge of API security standards, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Nice to have: experience with SonarQube and code quality metrics.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Angular or Vue.js.
