This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and implement scalable, secure software solutions while providing technical leadership.
β’ Mentor engineering teams, perform code reviews, and establish best practices in engineering.
β’ Create and develop contemporary React applications that integrate with Java Spring Boot services.
β’ Construct responsive interfaces for desktops, rugged tablets, and handheld devices used in Army settings.
β’ Design, deploy, and uphold secure applications and APIs within Microsoft Azure.
β’ Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for developing scalable, mission-critical systems.
β’ Incorporate passive and active RFID technologies, handheld scanners, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware.
β’ Support logistics, inventory management, and asset visibility for the Army.
β’ Work closely with Army stakeholders, program offices, and end users to gather requirements and validate technical solutions.
β’ Deliver solutions that operate reliably within the Army's enterprise network environments.
β’ Develop solutions across secure DoD infrastructures, addressing cybersecurity, performance, reliability, and interoperability.
β’ Collaborate with Product Managers to refine requirements, estimate workloads, manage backlogs, and oversee sprint execution and production deployments.
β’ Partner with software engineers, UX designers, systems engineers, infrastructure teams, and government stakeholders from conception through fielding.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in delivering enterprise applications.
β’ Proven experience in leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
β’ Extensive expertise in React, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
β’ Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.
β’ Experience with application deployment in Microsoft Azure.
β’ Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
β’ Active Security+ certification is required.
β’ Familiarity with Army or DoD enterprise network environments.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and customer engagement experience.
β’ Experience in leading agile teams and managing backlogs.
β’ Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders, inspiring teams, and advocating for the product.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
β’ Capability to obtain a Secret clearance; an active clearance is preferred.
β’ CKAD certification or equivalent is preferred as an additional qualification.
β’ Experience in developing applications for tablets, handhelds, and mobile devices is a preferred bonus.
β’ Experience in integrating RFID devices, barcode scanners, and peripheral hardware is a preferred bonus.
β’ A proven history of delivering solutions in DoD or similarly complex environments is a preferred bonus.
