Full Stack Engineer – Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of impactful Calendar features from initial concept to production.

• Develop robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions with a builder's mindset and a product-centric approach.

• Manage the delivery of intricate, user-facing Calendar features throughout the entire stack.

• Collaborate with Product to comprehend customer requirements, outline forthcoming features, and proactively identify issues.

• Build across the complete stack using technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Python.

• Recognize opportunities for refactoring and enhancing the broader codebase.

• Work alongside QA, Security, and Data teams when necessary.

• Navigate ambiguous challenges and produce high-quality solutions swiftly.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in full-stack engineering, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails.

• Proven ability to independently deliver complex features to production in customer-facing web applications and manage them post-launch.

• Experience in production with Ember.js or React and their ecosystems, along with a readiness to learn new frameworks and platforms.

• Strong comprehension of APIs, SQL, web application architecture, observability, and reliability, with sound judgment in selecting the appropriate approach.

• Excellent, proactive communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with remote, cross-functional teams via GitHub, Slack, Notion, and Zoom.

• Practical fluency with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code in daily tasks.

• High agency and a growth-oriented mindset; you take responsibility for quality and reliability and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

• Bonus: Experience with web application security, or knowledge of PCI or HIPAA compliance.

• Bonus: Practical troubleshooting and infrastructure experience with Docker, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, NGINX, AWS, and Terraform/Ansible.
