Full Stack Engineer – Ruby On Rails, Backend Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop an innovative SaaS platform aimed at assisting CPG brands and manufacturers in managing lab testing and compliance.

• Collaborate with the founding engineer and customers to construct and enhance the platform.

• Assess technical trade-offs utilizing systems architecture knowledge.

• Make well-informed technical choices.

• Apply security best practices to protect data and ensure application integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a full stack engineer.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, Turbo (Rails Hotwire), Tailwind CSS, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with React is an advantage.

• A proactive approach with a preference for early-stage 0-to-1 execution.

• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and experience working closely with design teams are additional assets.

• A passion for enhancing transparency within the food system.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to maintain a broad perspective and resolve issues independently.

• Previous experience in a developer position within rapidly growing startups.

• Advanced to fluent proficiency in English.

• Must be Brazilian and/or currently residing in Brazil.
