Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of features from inception to deployment: define the technical approach, develop both frontend and backend, and release to production.

• Create and uphold reliable, high-performance APIs, data models, and backend services.

• Develop polished and accessible frontend experiences, with a strong focus on UI/UX details.

• Construct and implement AI-driven features, ranging from personalized learning experiences to intelligent compliance tools, from prototype to production.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Copilot to enhance productivity and assist the team in adopting effective AI solutions.

• Implement analytics and leverage data to inform product and engineering decisions.

• Work collaboratively with product management, design, and fellow engineers to accomplish key initiatives.

• Recognize and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and reliability challenges.

• Guide and mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural advice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing customer-facing web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails.

• Proficient experience in React.

• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and engaging with relational databases.

• Comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept to production, including making architectural decisions.

• Proven history of elevating team standards through mentorship, code quality improvements, or process enhancements.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud services (AWS preferred).

• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience with observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Availability to work US timezone hours for effective team collaboration.

• Preferred experience integrating LLMs or AI/ML services into production applications.

• Preferred experience in A/B testing, personalization, or data-driven content customization.

• Background in a startup or rapidly growing environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with compliance, security awareness, or the ed-tech sector is preferred.
