Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish: define the technical strategy, develop both frontend and backend components, and deploy to production.

• Design and uphold dependable, high-performance APIs, data models, and backend services.

• Create polished and accessible frontend experiences with a focus on UI/UX elements.

• Develop and incorporate AI-driven features, ranging from personalized learning experiences to intelligent compliance tools, transitioning from prototype to production.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Copilot to expedite work and assist the team in adopting efficient AI tools.

• Implement analytics and utilize data to inform product and engineering decisions.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and fellow engineers to achieve significant initiatives.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and reliability challenges.

• Provide mentorship to other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and architectural advice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in developing customer-facing web applications using Ruby on Rails.

• Extensive experience with React.

• Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.

• Comfortable managing projects from concept to production, including making architectural decisions.

• Proven history of elevating team standards through mentorship, code quality, or process enhancements.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Experience with responsive design, accessibility standards, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

• Knowledge of observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Willingness to work during US timezone hours for team collaboration.

• Preferred experience in integrating LLMs or AI/ML services into production applications.

• Preferred experience with A/B testing, personalization, or data-driven content customization.

• Background in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with compliance, security awareness, or ed-tech domains is preferred.
