This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and enhance essential services that facilitate customer intake, screening, and data distribution.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.
• Manage the entire stack with full accountability for implementation.
• Suggest innovative, data-driven solutions that function efficiently at scale.
• Collaborate within a dynamic, transparent, and highly technical environment.
• Guide and mentor developers to engineers while delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Design and construct high-performing microservices.
• Address intricate engineering challenges and steer technical decision-making.
• Over 8 years of experience in full stack development.
• More than 5 years of practical experience in React development.
• Strong foundation in Java-based web development and distributed systems.
• Proven track record in building production-quality React applications, including components, routing, state management, APIs, and optimization.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools for design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Comprehensive understanding of application architecture and contemporary design patterns.
• Expertise in Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in leading engineering teams or mentoring developers.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service platforms.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum settings.
• US citizenship is required.
• BI Full 6C (T4) public trust is mandatory.
• Experience with AWS SDKs such as S3.
• Experience in developing scalable RESTful services within cloud environments.
• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and testing tools.
• Familiarity with current UI/UX principles.
