This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain Python backend services, along with REST/GraphQL APIs and integrations with both internal and external systems.
• Implement and integrate AI/LLM-powered workflows, which include RAG, agentic workflows, orchestration, and prompt/guardrail patterns.
• Connect services, tools, and data sources to create reliable and observable workflows throughout the agentic platform stack.
• Transform UX designs and design systems into maintainable React frontend code, linking APIs, state, and components.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to decompose requirements, estimate workload, and deliver iteratively.
• Write clear, testable code complete with unit and integration tests and engage in code reviews.
• Assist in maintaining engineering standards, tooling, and CI/CD practices for secure and scalable AI workloads.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot backend, integration, and frontend issues.
• Utilize agentic development for swift, quality code while keeping up-to-date with AI competencies.
• Take ownership of end-to-end features from API design and AI integration to functional UI delivery.
• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, with substantial time spent in Python developing production services.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with an agentic coding harness — such as Cursor, Windsurf/Devin, or Claude Code — utilized daily in production work.
• Strong practical knowledge of agent skills, rules, prompt engineering, and loop engineering.
• Direct experience integrating with LLMs or AI services like AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, AgentCore, or similar platforms.
• Significant experience in API design and implementation using REST/JSON; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Understanding of data modeling, persistence, SQL/NoSQL, queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficient with modern frontend frameworks; React is preferred, while Vue/Angular is acceptable with a willingness to work in React.
• Capability to implement responsive and accessible UI from Figma, wireframes, and design specifications using component libraries/design systems.
• Experience with cloud-native development on at least one major cloud platform and familiarity with containerization/orchestration concepts.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment emphasizing iterative delivery, proficient with Jira, and collaboration tools.
• Preferred certifications include but are not required: AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Agentic AI Demonstrated, AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional, Anthropic Academy developer path, AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate, Claude Certified Architect – Foundations, and GitHub Copilot GH-300.
